What is a Thermactor? I see that word mentioned in regards to the distributors for Ford cars from the '60s. I saw it while looking up the pertronix ignitor part number for my '63 Falcon. Does part number PNX-1266 sound about right for my car? (BTW, it is the stock 170 except for the Aussue headers.

8) it is an airpump designed to keep the fuel burning as it leaves the cylinder. you see them on most every late model car. they are called air pumps these days.

Get the pertonix w/o the thermactor for your car. Just make sure you use the year for your distributor, not your car.
