what's up with argentine heads?

You know WSA111 after such an intelligent and unselfish post by Martin, (that should of probably put an end to this thread) I wonder if in 1/2 an hour when you read what side of the horse your profound statement came out of, if you would still be proud of yourself. I mean what do you do,sit back, read it once, read it twice, and then say to yourself, "yea, that will tick of those SP guys, that will make my intelligence sound credible when I throw at them that I am a engineer w/ numbers, and an auto industry guru... that uses words which don't exist"
What is up with all the
professionalility in marketing this product.
that you so humbly request.
As for bringing John into this, man, the guy hasn't even posted since all this mud slinging, you are trying to continue with your last post, started. Look, its real simple,... the way you, Geezer, and Okefenokee Love Mike for helping you with your build and want to watch out for him, is the way we think highly of Martin, and want him to get the props he deserves for introducing the SP and ME to the states. That is not whining... that is support for his help with our builds. Bottom line... it seems to me through all these posts, that without Martin and John, there would be no mass quantity idealogy for FSPP, only excavations for Aussie heads. And that is not intended as an insult to Mike or Aussie owners either, it is a fact he admitted on this thread.
If you ask me both guys deserve props for contributing to our hobbies increased popularity and performance, NOT US (meaning you or me, so why didn't you stay out of it?) I for one happen to think that Mike's offer was genuine and it would be nice if it is in the neighborhood of what DB suggested. I have said that both guys deserve props for improving the hobby before and I believe many of us had agreed upon that, until you come along... amazing. Oh yea since money talks and Bullsh-t walks, I guess you'll be walking when the SP's do begin to sell. Naaah, I bet you will be first in line with your fist full of money and all your engineering prowess...don't forget to share all those ideas!1 :hmmm:
Hey man let's knock off the pesonal attacks, it really is not what is best for all of us. I vote to lets just see what happens with the SP's since it really isn't any of our business anyway.

It is simple. Asking that he fork over 50% of his profit and boldy saying he needs to put it in writing is nothing short of spitting in his face.

William and Doug,
John and Martin established a relationship with the foundry during this recent trip. For the last 2 years Martin has been trying to educate the board members about the heads, but somehow the posts just got buried.

William,
Remember this( http://www.fordsix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13722 )?
Yes, that is an ME head on a stock 170 block breaking the LAND SPEED RECORD. You still want to question Argentine engineering?

Doug and Don(okefenokee) - You want to question 25% each for Martin and John? Why don't you ask mike who it is that is doing all the footwork in Argentina, making the deals and spending hours and hours finding parts for mike to sell on fspp. Let me make it clear, they're both involved with Mike trying to import the heads. So yes they are entitled to more than just a finder's fee. You'd be spitting in John and Martin's face to think they deserved less.

William -
Why don't you let a professional handle the marketing, rather than an amatuer.
Just so you know, I am a 34 year old business owner, with a thriving consulting firm. I market very well. You would be lucky to have 1% of my marketing and/or business skills.

Your high and mighty approach doesn't work with me. Look at the posts before yours in this thread. At what point did you think it was disrespectful to anyone? It was YOU who decided to try and become a hero and turn this into a pissing contest. In fact read and re-read all the posts about the SPs we didn't bash.

The fact is that both bdj66 and I are delighted with our upcoming build ups, both with SP heads each with a totally different approach. Our goal was to show others the potential of the US block and how we can compete with the small blocks.

Like I've said time and time again, I like the 2v and I don't say that with sarcasism or negitive conotation. I've seen Mustangroo's car speed away and I'm a believer of the performance gains you can achieve by bolting on a 2v. In the meantime don't bash the SP or the members supporting it.

... and boldy saying he needs to put it in writing is nothing short of spitting in his face.

In the business world, talk is cheap.

If mike meant it then put it in writing otherwise it's worthless banter.

Offer? I have nothing financially to gain from this, but as a friend to both John and Martin, I have 100% personal stake in this.

So then your post =
it's worthless banter.

Not your place to be demanding terms.

it certainly is when my friends are involved. So what's your stake in this, why are you so interested? I'd guess it's to back mike up, all well and good but don't attack me for having similar intentions.

You have been owned, won't be the last time I am sure.

Good luck in life, if you need it.
