a roving team of Mustang 6 specialists.

You know, come to every major city for a week and we bring you our cars and you fix them CORRECTLY? Hop them up and then at the end of the week, we have a parade?

I certainly dont know nearly as much as you guys...never will.

signature is down cause my friend hosting is upgrading..

and that's why the image in your signature isn't showing up, right? cuz u don't know jack?

lol, i think my response sounded a bit more harsh than i meant it to be, i was just joking around

i now get what you were saying, sorry if i caused any offense

I misspoke....most people here know LOTS more than me. See, never try to psot at work when you are not supposed to...end up saying soemthing awkwardly wrong...I do that all the time. Ask my DF (Wife)

i think i would like the idea of getting together with some people to work on some cars, old falcon kinda gets me sick sometimes and im not very happy with it most of the time, so i think something different could make it a bit better

Why travel, I have been toying with the idea on an Online Garage... We could hook up via webcam and interactively host a workshop on Saturday mornings to walk through repairs and mods.... Users could post questions and get responses....

This is so simple, I am suprised no one has thought of it yet.....

If I was setting this up I would have a three or four man crew... One or two working on the car. One reading through posted questions and monitoring the feed. And one camera guy roving round the car....

Users could pay a membership fee to get logged in (49.95 a year or so??)
Then you check in and go through this weeks project....

Installing a T5
Upgrade to Dursaprk II
Disc Brakes
Electrical
Body
Welding
Tires/wheels
Suspension series
internal engine
valve adjustment
Nitrous
EFI
Carbs
Timing

the list goes on forever........

As new ideas and products become available you have more topics...
and as the weeks go by you record and edit/archive the shows as streaming media so members can go through old shows....

I wish I had the resources to get something like this going.....

Only problem would be the editing - you can't do things live without heaps of prep, duplication of components and process stages. The "Visit Wichita and beat on RogueS" episode would rate well...(J/K)

As a longer-term, universally accessible format, a really comprehensive FAQ database would kick butt. Lots and lots of topics, tests, pictures, info.

Regards, Adam.

I am planning on an extensive photo shoot of the rebuild I am about to undertake... I am going to assemble some articles from a first timer POV.

I got a digital camera and I have plenty of storage. So I will start to assemble things as I go....

A database would be the way to go.

Editing is no problem. I am a Post production Effects Editor and animator. I work at facility with tools that can produce Video, sound, animation, editing. I can cover the editing, what I lack is the Expertise to put on the show.... No reason it could not be shot in CA or AZ and sent to ATL for posting....

Just a thought....

Anyway, It is a cool thought.

Sounds cool. I tell ya I've learned alot from reading yall's input. Hell tomorrow I'm finishing up on my first head gasket replacement. Have a great week-end..ZZ
