I am looking to buy a rebuilt 1100 carb from NAPA, and I need a little clarification.
I want a manual choke. Here's what they list on their website: a "Ford Type, w/ Hand Choke, w/ Automatic Transmission" (probably the one I'll get), a "Holley Carburetor, w/ Hand Choke, w/ Carburetor # 1909," and a "Holley Carburetor, w/ Hand Choke, w/ Carburetor # 1940." No other details are given.
On both of the Holleys, what does it mean "w/ Carburetor # 1909" and "w/ Carburetor # 1940"?
Which one of the three should I get?
They also list a Carter with "Climatic Choke." What is this? I've never heard of anything like this. (I don't intend to get this one, but I would just like to know what it is.)
Thanks.
