will a 65 mustang auto bellhousing bolt to a 56 ford 223 I6?

ok so i have a 1956 ford 223 inline six and im trying to put a c4 auto tranny behind it. does anyone know if a bell housing from a 65' / 66' mustang 200 inline six will bolt up to my motor?? or does anyone have any pix of a mustang inline six bell housing so i can see the bolt pattern? please help if you can.. thanks for your time

Nope, won't fit. The 144/170/200 bellhousing is unique.

rizzos, I have a bellhousing for a C4. I actually have a whole C4, if you want to buy it. It's not too far from you, I was in ontario yesterday. Maybe 50 miles.
