would a 300 mount on a 351 tranni?

Hi i was just woundering if a 88 300 motor would bolt up to a tranni of off and 87 351? I was just wondering if they were the same bolt pattern or if i would have to change bellhousings. Any help would be appriciatted. if its not a direct boolt up does anyone know where i can get a bellhousing adapter?

Bellhousings are the same.
Flywheels are not. You MUST use the flywheel/flexplate from the 300. The balance is very different.

thanks for the response but i have one further question. with the purchase of a new flywheel would i have to purchase a different clutch pressure plate, ect...
