I knew it as something sold for motorbike taillights. You have to clean and buff the lens first, then brush the dye on, let set and (my opinion but not 100% necessary), clearcoat over the plastic. About $13 for a little bottle of orange or red liquid.
Wanna be really cheap? Buy some Feast Watson "Proof-Tint" in red (at the hardware store paint section) and dilute it with metho - it's really strong. Brush on. The "Maple" colour might be best for the orange parts. I can't guarantee this won't leave the surface a little dull after, but you could hit it with Dupli-Color clear in a can.
