Xflow and pre cross flow blocks different?

Howdy
Are the cross flow head motors the same as the cast log pre cross flow motor from the head down. - Can I put a log head on a pre cross flow? Can I put a cross flow Cortina sump on a pre cross flow block?

Any body have a Cortina sump and pick-up they would be happy to part with?

the cross flow blocks are not the same as the log head, nor are they the same as the 250-2V block

i believe you can put a log head on a pre-cross flow, but i'm not sure why you would want to, unless you're keeping it all concours correct

no clue on the sump

a crossflow block is about 1/2 inch wider than a precrossflow so you cant swap heads.sumps are the same.

Cheers Guys - I'm thinking after reading this I can swap any cortina sump to a pre-cross flow. I'm swapping a 250 into something and think a Cortina sump might clear the cross member. Thanks for the replies.

a cortina sump will bolt onto an xf motor an xy motor etc.crossflow or precrossflow the sump will bolt on i have done it plently of times.
