The annual "Start the T-top coupe and let it warm up" week.

Although this time it did take a new battery, fuel filter, and a shot of starting fluid. It started and ran fine but I believe the catalytic converter is clogged.

A few minutes after car started it got real hot and smokey in car and had smoke comeing out under the hood. In panic ran and grabbed a bucket and dipped it in rainwater and doused tranny and converter area and under car with rainwater...so car now smells like baked swamp rat!

I ahve had this car a year and a half now. Time I start driving it..especially to some local tracks.

Ouch, try disconnecting the converter next time and see if it does the same thing.

It needs a whole new exhaust anyways. Im working on getting the header before I redo exhaust.

Im Off Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Sunday - 10am til ? bolting 5.0L and C4 together and dropping in 86LX amd start hooking stuff up.

Tue - Jack up Probe, steal front and rear P225/50-16 wheels and tires. Take 15x7 flat and bald wheels and tires off. Steal seats out of the Probe and put in Coupe (friend wants his Recaro's back). Put the 5 lug 5 rotors back on the front of the Coupe. take front tires to Tire Barn and have tires pulled from Probe wheels and put on 16x7 Cobra R clones. Put Cobra R clones on front of Coupe.

Thu - Assuming I got anything done Tue. fix loose steering on Coupe. Pull 8.8" disc brake Lincon rear over to Coupe. Take Ibuprofin for shoulder and back pain. Fill rear with lube an add friction modifier, button up, install in Coupe. Mount Cobra R's to rear.

Camera is about to be beaten with a blunt object. Took a bunch of pics of 5.0L engine Im working on for the 86LX and of the interior with the all Autometer gauge dash..AND NOTHING IS ON THE SD/MMC card..GAHHHHH!

Been trying to get pics of engine for a week of playing tag with my friend whos garage its in.

I think the battery was too low to let camera write the images to the disc.

And schedule is already behind.

Was gonna paint brackets on 5.0L but found out they are cast aluminum so getting them glass beaded Monday instead.

Still working on Coupe Tues and also gonna try installing a am/fm cassette radio I had in 1980 Mustang into Coupe. Right now just has a AM only Sparkomatic radio. No tape, no auxilary out, not even FM. This will not do!

Also gonna remove air pump off 3.3L which is still on motor but not even hooked up.

Also gonna see if the 91 Mustang GT's power steering pump will bolt to my 3.3L's power steering bracket. That will give me a high volume power steering pump for when I install a 15:1 quick ratio rack and pinion.
