Have been removing the freeze plugs. Behind the flywheel there are two large plugs one to the left of the crank and one above the crank. I'm assuming that the on on the left is the cam plug, but what is the other one for?? Is it part of the water jacket or was it used in the block machining process when the block was manufactured?

Tnx
Terry

Hi, the plug above the crank goes into the water jacket, and on the left is the cam. The small plug above the oil filter goes into the crank case space. It was originally used for a road draft tube. Good luck
