Intake manifold gasket - use gasket sealer?

OK, I made intake manifold gaskets by cutting out a sheet of gasket material, then using a hole punch to punch out the bolt holes. Cut out the holes for the ports with an exacto knife.

Since no water flows through the intake manifold, I don't need sealer on the gasket, right?

It's up to you, I had some issues with vacuum so I sprayed Copper coat on both sides before install. I say better add a layer since she's a pain to remove and install on the car.

Just to let you know... we finally have intake gaskets. If you need any, just let me know and I'll ship a couple sets to you (no charge).

Mike are they the gaskets that are metal to take heat..
