my 200 is stock other than a clifford 6 into 2 header, dual exhaust, pertonix ignition, and k&n filters. I was wondering how much power i am actually going to gain by putting an adapter and a weber 2 barrel on it. Is it really worth it?

It will do more than the combined parts you listed that you have allready done! It will smooth out your engine and give you better MPG than the single barrell does and still give you more performance too! I really feel it's was the best money spent for a upgrade you can do to our sixes. Go for it, you will only regret not doing it sooner!

It looks fine, When I got mine I got it from Stovebolt also! BTW ask him if he still has new old stock 2v's they were only $10-$15 more and were new not rebuilt! He also sells a plate for the bottom of your air cleaner so that it fits the carb!

here is the thing...im still convinced i will get more bang for the buck by dropping in my freshly built 289. what do you think? is it worth the money to upgrade the 6? i can always throw the 289 in another car.

we build the sixes to be different
you can get more power out of a V8, but swapping all that's needed for a V8 into an I6 body can get expensive

in the end, it's up to you, do you want to have a V8, or an I6?
anything else is rhetoric

Somebody told me to keep my 1bbl if I want low end power but go to a 2bbl if I want mid to high end power. Is that true?

the 2bbl will let in more air and fuel at the top end, so it will help increase top end power
not sure of the rest

The two barrel we are dicussing is a two barrell progressive, it runs on 1 barrell untill you get about half way down on the pedal then the second barrell opens, a stock 1 barrell depending upon year is from 158 to 195 cfm, the Holley 5200/webber clone is rated about 258 cfm with both barrells open, the first is only about 124 cfm, hence the great MPG and power, you can cruise around on less gas and still give it more gas when needed!

Stop talking about it! Just buy one!
