200 log intake

a mate of mine took a old 250 head of mine with a 6" grinder and chopped off the manifold, then adapted a xflow f/injected manifold, then turbo`ed and supercharged it as well as water to air intercooler. it is fuel injected using delco management and programmed with kalmaker software.

8) I may get out my Porter Cable Tiger saw and do the same as was done with the sawzall. I'd mill the surface flat, install headers then weld up an exhaust tubing intake for a 5200. I guess it's time go go looking for a spare 200 head.

8) I just had another thought on the matter. IF the log is removed.............will it weaken the head bolt mounting holes?
Would the head seal as well as it should? I may use a carbide cut off wheel and trim the log away to maintain as much metal around the bolt holes.
