Hey guys,
My Mustang isn't starting this morning and the only thing I can think of to cause it was a big rain yesterday. It hasn't done this ever and it was running fine even on Sunday.

Here's what I've got:
- Thought battery was dead at first so tried jumping it - no avail
- The interior lights, blinker and E Brake light come on
- When I turn the key to start I hear the solenoid click, but nothing happens
- If I hold the key at start after the solenoid clicks it makes a slight buzzing sound.
- I tried bypassing the solenoid with a jumper cable, but it still did the same thing
- All connections to starter look good and clean

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!

It could be the ignition switch. I have that problem every time it rains and, although I don't have cowl rust, I believe that water does get in there and short it somehow. Warm or dry is no problem.

I'd put a full charge on the battery and try again. As lunwig stated it sounds like a short if it won't start after its dried out start checking at the battery and work your way back. It may just be a bad ground.

Certainly sounds like a stuck starter...
1. try getting a new one if i were you get a mini.
2. get a new battery (deep cells are off the hock i love mine that i have never died on me.
last)
3. new solenoid there cheep nothing to get a new one
