223 with a 4bbl offy and a 2bbl holley

has anyone used this setup? im building a 223 and i will eventually have a header and a petronix ign. i think a 4bbl would be too much, but i cant find a 2bbl intake for a 223. i want to try a offy 4bbl intake with a 2bbl carb with adapter plate. what do yall think?

Should work pretty well with either an Autolite or Holley style carb. There's a phenolic 2-into-4 adaptor available which might help control unwanted heat coming into the carb.

do you mean 4bbl Clifford intake? Clifford makes all kinds of adapter plates for their manifolds, but the only Offy mani I've seen is the 2-1bbls like I've got on my 223.
