390 help

ok i know this is an inline forum but you guys have yet to give me bad info.
i have a 390 that dosent want to run.
first thing in the morning i can get it to start right off the bat. it will run for about a minute or so then die as if it was shut off. wont start unless i let it sit for a few minutes. after waiting the few minutes it fires right off only to run for a minute or so again and die.
this rig has a mallory unilite disributor a holley 500 cfm 2 barrel with a fresh kit just installed all parts look to be in good working order but i cant seem to find my problem. please HELP

8) it sounds like you are getting too much fuel. try lowering the float level and dropping the fuel pressure and see what happens. also make sure your idle mixture screws are set right.
