4.1 Xflow size

Anyone know the length x width x height of a 4.1 EFI Xflow? My xflow is several thousand miles away so I can't go measure it for myself.

OK Ive measured up my crossflow and must strees that these measurements are without manifolds and water pump.
Length- 780mm to harmonic balancer to flywheel.
Width- 240mm across block , flywheel housing is wider.
Height- 730mm, from bottom of sump to top of efi throttle.

If you need more Ive got the engine out of the car so can measure easily.

Thanks mate. The width looks pretty narrow, I'm guessing that is not from the widest point on the exhaust manifold to the widest point on the intake manifold, correct? Just across the block?

Yes thats correct, my engine does not have the stock manifold on it so Ive just measured across the block at the sump area.
The X flow is very similar to the pre crossflow in most respects, it will certianly fit wherever the early engine fitted.
Bear in mind that the Aussie bellhousing are NOT like your small bell or large bell blocks, but somewhere in between, mounts are the same weight is about the same, the alloy head crossflow is lighter than the earlier precrossflow, not so for iron heads, but you would bother with one anyway.
Like Ive said Ive put mine in the 1965 falcon ute in Aussie, with the problems ive outlined.
