If you've seen my other posts, you know I just swapped most of the good parts (front disks, MC, 250, C4, rear end, etc) from a 74 Maverick into my 66 Mustang. The mav ran great when I got it ($150, 'cause it wouldn't start. New starter fixed that), except that I had to do a little creative wiring to make the ignition armed. I discovered that the "I" lead to the starter relay had to have constant 12v current to it for the distributer to have any juice. Now, when the engine is running, the "s" and "i" posts on the relay don't have juice. Therefore, I am wondering what is wrong with the ignition module or distributor to make it only run when the "i" wire has juice. I may have posted this question about a year ago, but now that I have all the gear in the Mustang, and ready to wire back up, it is becoming a pressing concern.
I have read the Duraspark section on the Tech page, and have a rudimentary understanding of how to wire up the ignition module, but don't know what is up.
Thanks for any help.
Nate
