What's so great about having adjustable rocker arms on a hydraulic lifter engine as opposed to the stock non adjustable ones on a 250? I though the whole point of having hydraulic lifters was that you don't need to adjust...
Well, for some of us, who have gone and milled our heads, decked our blocks, running different thickness head gaskets, etc, there is always worry that the "adjustment range" of the lifter will not be enough to compensate. With the adjustable rockers, the hydraulic lifters can always be in the "sweet spot" regardless of other factors.
Now, just because the rockers are adjustable, does not mean you need to constantly adjust them like solid lifters, it just means they can be set to optimum when the engine is assembled.
