Can anyone explain to me the sequence of events I need to go through in order to adjust the auto choke (no electric) on my YF?

One more thing...what years and makes had an electric choke that will fit my YF? I think I want to replace my auto with an electric unit.

Cool chris
OK
with motor cold
Losen (not take out) the 3 screws (21) around the choke housing (36) Hold the throtel open and turn the housing untill the choke almost closes all the way (I'd say with in a 1/2 " or so) tighten the 3 screws back up.. That should be it.. If you find it is too much choke just back it off a little or not enoff close it more.
on the side of the choke there is a tube that goes down to the exghust manifold make sure it is hooked up. It suplies the heat to shut the choke off as the motor heats up..
As for the elect. choke I don't know which one.
hope this helps
