Hey Dan! What's up? THX for the comments.....we estimated it at 95 mph....I don't have a speedometer! And the track doesn't have the trap speed sensors. Also the first time I tried it it ran 14.33, but it probably was because I forgot to raise the fuel pressure...
BTW how's your car? Is it done, have you tested it? We need some more pics !!!!!!!!
No speed sensors? That's not cool. 14.33.....SWEET! You should put that up on your site. If thats what it ran then thats what it ran! I am guessing that is on radials? Yea, low FP and nitrous will REALLY make 'em go! You are good though, Edelbrock set thoes kits up to be on the safe side anyways. You got to love nitrous! It is just great!
My car is a little bit apart right now. I was getting it ready for the track and fixing a few things on it when my truck that I just bought (to pull my cars to the track) fell apart and trashed the motor. Sooooo I have been working on that and spending LOTS of money on it getting it back together. I got it running an just took it to the exhaust shop this morning. Hopfully I am about done with that thing! It will be a cool truck though. It is a 90 Chevy Sport truck 350/5spd. I put in a rebuilt Vortec 350 with some boltons(RPM air gap, underdrives, headers) and rebuilt my tranny while I had it all apart. I have all the parts for my Stang, now I just need the time to get out there and do it. I am wanting to build a full on turbo/nitrous 200 with the old nitrous motor soon.
