I am thinking of taking my 65 mustang to the alignment shop today, but before i do, i was wondering if the symptoms of my cars problems can be fixed my that. When the wheels are facing foward, the steering wheel is turned slightly to the right, and at high speeds the car likes to pull to the left. I looked at the tires and there doesnt appear to be uneven tread wear.

Matt..

Keep it simple...if you have good shocks and no loose front end suspension parts..good bushings and all that then go for the alignment. This will make sure the front tracks true with the rear and also sets the camber/caster/toe for steering. After that...you may just need to remove and re-clock your steering wheel.
