Will it fit? Seems like there is much interference with the intake runners. I haven't put a gasket in between yet. I want to use the original because I can paint it. Thanks,

I have a stock chrome Aussie 250 2V cover and it fits the U.S. cast iron and aluminum head just fine!

The gasket gives it just enough clearance on mine.

Ron, to use a stamped steel cover on the OZ head, you'll need to trim/file the gasket rim where it hits the intake runners. I can't tell you how many guys missed this, after installing an OZ head, and wound up with oil all over their new motors. And trying to clean oil out of the valleys, between the runners, is no fun.
