aussie head question

I am having my aussie head rebuilt again cause the first mechanic did a crappy job of it. now i have a few questions

do any oil passages need to be blocked when adding full roller rockers?
(i have the yella terra 1.65 roller rockers)
do they just get bolted on and adjusted?

I think the head cc's at 54 and the block is decked to 0, whith the 1.65 rockers is there any piston to valve clearance problems?

what is normal timing for these engines ? timing seems to very greatly from what i have read.

I'm haveing a thin steel head gasket installed as well. and the pistons have a 6.5 cc dish in them.

thanks for all your help

John,

You don't need to block the oil passage (thru the rear pedestal) as the flat bars that come with the rockers will do it for you when you install them. Just use SBF lifters, oiling pushrods, and adjust the rockers normally.

You shouldn't have any clearance issues, but it a good idea to verify just to be safe.
