calling all turboed 300

im starting the rebuild on my turbo300 and was just wondering what trim, a/r and psi you all are using. im using a turbo with 15psi , .42IT a/r / .48EX a/r, and i think a 2" trim. i have used 4 diff. turbos on the motor and this seems to be the best i have used.

That A/R seems a bit tight for a 300 inch motor. Are you running two?
.58 to .69 would be better. It would still spool quick and not fall on it's face at 4000rpm.

well i ran the turbo for about 5 hours and it worked fine at high RPMs. i really dnot know what the peek boost was my gauge only went up to 10psi and it hit that at 2.5G. i had a turbo with about .7 and it really didnt build good boost.

but as i asked what are you all runing.

According to my Hubby, Does10s, boost and CFMs are not the same. A small turbo can make boost, but won't handle cubic inch.
Our .58 A/R pukes out at about 5800rpm on our 250ci, with the 58mm turbo. The 64mm turbo with .69 a/r pulls past 6200rpm just fine. :D

it gets GOOD boost past 2.5G even with no rings it pulled all the way up to about 4.9G(i know i was going to have to rebuild so i didnt give a darn about over rev-ing it)

You asked for advice, and some very knowledgeable people (myself excluded) have given it to you. If you want to stick w/ what you've got - that's your prerogative.
