I have a Comp 252H-10, the cam card is 106 - center line with lobe separation of 110. Using the intake center line method, tried from scratch several times, and I constantly get 105.
8) call it good enough. chances are its a math error or a rounding error on someones part. one degree on the intake center line isnt going to hurt anything.
If you want more low end just leave be. One degree is nothing to be concerned with. Per Rich.
However since you choose such a mild camshaft & if you have the JP adjustable timing gear, I would retard it 2 degrees for a little more high midrange & top end.
Yes I have the JP Timing Set, so to retard it 2 deg I would line up the -2 on the sprocket?
I'm putting this into a 71 Bronco, the current 170 has OK low end torque what I'm trying for is more power so when I hit a hill doing 60mph
I don't loose it and end up going into second gear.
