Little 200

While looking at Vintage Inlines for bearings i seen a cam spacer . I have a 67 model 200 and would like to know if this spacer is suppose to be on cam ? It was not on it so does anyone have a diagram or can tell me where it goes and how it is turned since it looks like it has a thick side and a thin side . Any help is appreciated .

It goes on the front snout of the cam, behind the timing gear pin, inside bevel (thin) to the back, away from the gear pin. Wide side runs against the back of the timing gear (corrected).

Correction: It rides inside the thrust plate, the front cam bearing surface is against the back of the thrust plate, after seeing drag-200stang's picture. Been a minute since I've been that far into my sixes!
