Can anyone verify 221/US 200 compatability and availability

I am getting ready to pull the US log head 200 in my '80 Stang and have considered the idea of getting a good condition 221.

1)Someone mentioned that I can use my 200 oilpan and bellhousing on this engine. Can someone verify this?

2)Any idea of what cost would be for a 221 shortblock in good enough condition that I could drop my OZ head on it and drop it in the car.

Oil pan will definitely work, not sure about the bell tho. I'll see if I can get a price on a short block for you.

Not yet brah, not for another couple of weeks. I think the biggest hurdle is fitting the US made bellhousing. I could ask my contact to take some photos of it and maybe some measurements. He's actually got several of these old 221s in his yard.
