I was wondering. I noticed that the Rochester 2V carb is a different base then the Holley. I was wondering if the Rochester is the same as the Stromberg 2V pattern.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Slade

No, the Stromberg 2V is different too.

There are two kinds of 2jet,
a)an early one with two bolts,

b)and a later (2CG) with four bolts.

c) The later Rochester has the same throttle blade spacing and bore diamters as the #2300 Holley 2-bbl.

d) The 2-bbl Holden Stromberg 2V I had was different to each of these kinds of Rochester, which I got off 283 and 327 Chevy engines of different years.

I am not exactly certain what the bolt spacing is to the nearest 16 th, but I keep records of EVERY THING, and can find out!
