carb. spacer problem

I think a bigger problem than the stud spacing is going to be the odd angle between the small six spacer mounting holes by the log inlet and the carb mounting holes in the spacer, together they keep the carb sitting square. A quick look at some parts on eBay didn't look promising. But I know nothing about the big sixes, be skeptical of anything I say!
