well now that I have my car back home I am going to start my CFI swap on it. I am going to disable the wastegate on my car so no boost but want to see if I can get it running on the stock CFI bits.
I need to get a refresh kit for the CFI unit sinceI need to clean it up a little and drill/tap for NPT on the fuel lines.
Mean while I am going ot start getting it wired up and get the TFI dizzy in the car and see if it will run on it.
The CFI uses a two piece casting with the lower section holding ONLY the throttle plates and TPS. IT LOOKS like it could be opened up ALOT for some more flow if needed. I am not sure about getting bigger injectors that can fit it though (might look into seeing if it can be modded for bosch style injectors)
the airfilter housing uses a larger opening than the 2300 series carbs though so I will need to deal with that.
