I have been driving myself crazy with the fast falcon calculator they use online.

No matter what I do, It comes back to 5.5:1 compression

does anyone know what gives?

I am in the calculation phase and it is not helping.

Anyone outhere with a better calc or advise on the one I am using here.

Sounds like you might be trying to use a value in one of the numbers that should be a positive instead of a negative or vice versa. You can google compression ratio calculators and find many interactive ones out there.

Make sure you aren't moving a decimal point. Example: Deck height for a 200 is 0.030, not 0.30. Compressed thickness for a head gasket is 0.053, not 0.53.
Putting these values in will definitely make your calculations off.
