curb weight's?

Just was curious what the curb weights were on a 63 Fairlane & a 66 Mustang? The reason I ask is because I have an 200 engine from a 66 Mustang that is in my 63 Fairlane & was just wondering on the performance?

Search for posts by Mustang Geezer, IIRC he posted hiw weigh in weight in one of his threads.

IIRC it was around 2560lbs (without the driver )

My 64 Ford Fairlane 500, 4 door, has a curb weight of 2870. Your 63, depending on body style, should be plus or minus up to 100lbs.

8) my 64 falcon has a curb weight of 2600lbs listed, and my mustang has a curb weight of 2800lbs.

My 67 mustang, with a spare tire & jack with 1/2 tank of fuel is 2780 LBS.

No a/c , no power steering, but a C-4 trans.

This stang has a full interior with all front & rear seats in place & a fire extingusher in the trunk.

If i go to the track soon, i will remove the spare tire & jack & all the contents of the trunk. 40 # savings??

By the sounds of it, the two are pretty "equal" in weight & I should not lose any "performance" from my whopping 200! I wasn't sure if the Fairlane weighed quite a bit more or not.
