Can you tell if a block is a 200 or 250 through the casting number? if so what is a D8DE 6015-DA? from a 78 Granada is what one page said the engine came from.

I can't measure it or anything, its one that someone is selling off e-bay as a 250 but I'd like to make sure its a 250... although I'd love it (and would buy it) if it was a 200.

Ask for one or two things. The 250 will have four bolts holding on the water pump. The 200 has only three. Also, the block is just over 9.5 inches from the oil pan rail to the top of the block. The 200 is only about 8".
