Defective hew head gasket? Please help - quick!

I was about to drop my cylinder head on about 15 min ago (midnight here) and noticed the oil/antifreeze holes in the gasket do not match all of the ones on the head size wise. I did not buy this - it came with the car, but is obviously a small six gasket. Did the earlier engines have smaller oil holes? Mine is a '69 200 head/'68 block.

This gasket appears to be much better quality than what found at car quest a few weeks ago - some of the cylinder bore openings were not round!

Here's the photo, with green post it's pasted above the holes in question. Does this matter? The holes are less than 1/2 size of the ones in the head, or at least most of them. It almost looks like they forgot to enlarge them! Counting down to last car show of the year and must get this put together...

That's normal. The holes are sized differently to control the flow of coolant and steam.

8) like jack said, those holes are supposed to be that size.

Thanks, guys. You'd think they'd just cast the head that way But now I have another dilemma on a similar issue...

8) except that it would be harder to remove the casting sand.
