Could someone please explane deiseling?
Don't need anything to indepth just something basic.
Is it when the temp. in the c. chamber is so high it creates a hotspot, or maybe compression is so high that the engine function similar to a deisel. Please clearify this a little.
Thanks
Paul

dieseling happens when there's too much fuel, combined with a hotspot in the chamber that's hot enough to ignite the fuel

basically, it's detonation after the engine is shut off
