Direct mount 32/36 weber

Has any one direct mounted a Weber 32/36 carb? The reason I ask is that, it doesn't seem like it would give equal fuel delivery to all cylinders if it was direct mounted to the log head since both butterflies aren't open at the same time. Any thoughts or advise?

The fuel is not affected when only one butterfly is open only air flow through that one same as a 4 baral on a v8. But do to the poor log head the inner 3 4 run rich outer 1 6 are lean and 2 5 are fine. If you are concern about equal flow you will want a head with a removable intake or mod one up.

Just put mine on two weeks ago. Major difference in performance, but I also installed an HEI 50k distributor at the same time. From all the research I have done, the progressive two barrel is the way to go, with a stock intake.

The idea of the 32/36 Weber, which has asynchronous butterflies, is to give economy (32 venturi initial) with additional performance (36 venturi opening up later).

The 38/38 Weber has synchronous butterflies, opening up the same amount per given throttle position. This is more of a performance carb for the 200/250.

If you look at the sites selling Webers for 4.2L Jeeps, the 32/36 is an upgrade to the stock carb, with the 38/38 as a performance choice.
