Will a transmission for a 300 six bolt up to a 200 six? Or what is needed to have this work if it will at all? I need someone with knowledge about this. Champion2211

which transmission to which six?

an E4OD to an early '70s block? no
there is a version of the small six that is very close to the SBF bellhousing that the 300 uses, with some modification it could bolt up to that one

Mine is a 200 I6 1969 model with a 3 speed sincro tied to it. All 69. I was wanting to know about whether a 81 300 C4 would bolt up to this engine. I am hoping I have the year right as the man didn't tell me anything other than it was from a 300 six.

if it was a C4, you'd need a different bellhousing
but i don't think the 300 ever came with the C4 stock, if it's a C6 then no i don't think it will work as the C6 has a bellhousing that's cast into the transmission body

i'm gonna move this thread so you get more responses

The C4 from a 300 will only "bolt up" if you use the smaller bell housing for a 200. The C4 bell housing bolts on to /with the pump (or to the case in the large case model). to do the swap you will need the C4, a bell housing, flex plate, and converter for your 200.
You will need to modify or buy some linkage for the C4 shifter and a "kick down" link from the carb to the C4 lever.

Thank you all for your comments and answers. I really appreciate it. champion2211
