I would like to add a little pep to my stock 67 mustang convertible. Does this seem like a good first step?

Heh, oh yeah. If you get it, have it rebuilt, then put in a cam and header. That will make for a very fine start.

I would expect the price to go up some...but yeah...it is a good starting point.

For what it worth, if I was in the market for an auz head, manifold etc, I'd buy it from auzcoupe. He has them 'in stock' in various states of 'dress' and last but not least 'you know who you are dealing with'. The head on ebay may be a 'good piece' but you don't know for sure until you have purchased it, and don't forget its an auction. One dosen't know until the very last minute if its a 'deal' or not. Thats my 2 cents worth. Paul
