I need to re do the timing on my motor, i think it has to much total, i took the vac off to stop it advancing while i was tuning it. I should have done the timing first, but carb was way off and i also had low fuel PSI and volume so had to overcome that. My dissy is the Classic one, it hasn’t been touched since purchased. Should i do it by a vac gauge or just set initial at 10-12. Motor now has the tickled 2V head, not sure on my comp, have 54cc chambers in the head, bottom end is a ’68 200 with a Permatorque gasket. Modified alloy manifold, and a 350 Holley. Modified extractors. When measuring manifold vacuum, i did this with the vac advance line off, gauge showed 19-20.
