Guys, I cant seem to get my this duraspark setup to work. I am using a stock module. The white wire off the box is going back to "s' on the solonoid. Green from the box goes to "-" on the coil. The other 3 go from the box to the dizzy. The red wire is tapped in 4" from the ignition switch "to the red wire coming off the switch". From there it goes to "+" on the coil then to the box.

When cranking and both leads on + and - on the coil I get approx 6v. When cranking and going from + on the coil to ground, I get 10-11V.

Still I have no spark. Any help would be great. I am literally pulling out my hair...........

It sounds like there is either a miswire, or no signal from the distributor/module to modulate the coil voltage.

Check continuity of the DS-II pick-up.

We test Bosch dizzies before install, by wiring them up with a coil and lead, then spinning the shaft by hand. Even at that speed - maybe 120-150 RPM you get a fat blue spark off the coil lead. I think one could about do the same with the DS-II and module.

You shouldnt ever see a constant voltage that high at the coil with an electronic ignition. There should always be pulses which may show as a constant on analog meters (like a tach) but at cranking speeds you should see the needle jump. I would say bad module.
