Engine for my 66 Coupe

Newbie here guys and gals. Have some V8 Mustangs etc. Now have a nice 66 AZ. Coupe and would like to try a six. Should I look for a 250 or 200? Would like a Auto Transmission and will make some mods. to engine. Is 200 rear hp out of the question. Thanks for input Gary Scottsale AZ

200 hp is a reach with either engine if you intend to keep it streetable.

UNLESS....you consider a turbo. A low boost of just a couple of pounds will easily put you in the 200 hp range.
