Engine mounts 215 vs. 223 please help

I have a '53 Ford Mainline with a 215 but I'm installing a '61 model 223. Will the 223 bolt right in without modification. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

The front motor mounts are in different places on the two motors. The 215 has the mounts near the front, the 223 has them near the center. The pans on the two engines are probably different too. The oil pump and corresponding bulge in the pan may not clear the cross member in your car. The good news is that all the stuff on the back of the engine will bolt together.
