Engine Oil Cooler for Turbos

Turbo motors build more heat. Anything you can do to help dissipate that heat will help the motor.

I also HIGHLY recommend a larger radiator.

I also recommend braided stainless hoses if you can get them or even Industrial grade high temp, high pressure hoses. I have seen some just using synthetic rubber Hypalon reinforced hoses and thats not good enough.

I would skip the sandwich plate style and run a remote filter setup and put a cooler on the outlet of the filter (better to filter the hot oil)

I am using the 2.3L turbo style cooler. sandwich type but is a oil-water cooler. just run a heater line in and out of it and it is done.

Sandwich coolers work ok, but the real trick is to get the oil feed immediately after it. Some stock Jap engines had an alloy casting that sat between the cooler and the block to provide an oil tapping plus an independent pressure relief.
