Engine Stand

I just took apart most of a 200 and now want to put the block on the engine stand but I have a small problem.I think I am an idiot.How is this suppose to fasten to the stand?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

dont feel bad... the back of the motor (where the transmission bolts to the block) bolts to the engine stand. i just use the same bolts that attaches the engine to the tranny, but i added washers.. the arms on the stand move to align to the holes..

i hope your stand has 4 wheels, if it only has 3, itll tip over as soon as you look at it. i would know - awhile ago i was in a guy's shop moving a bent 8, a wheel hit a penny on the ground and there she went, i just stepped back.
its possible that your confusion is caused by an incomplete stand, so i'll describe how it should be and you can tell if your missing something. theres that plate with a pipe attached that goes from the base of the stand to the engine, right. well from that plate tehre should be four arms maybe 6 or 8 inches long that are each attached by one bolt. as GOT_FORD was saying, these arms pivot out on those bolts to match the bell housing holes.
