exhaust question

I just picked up my rebuilt head. Milled to 56cc chambers, I already have a weber 32/36 on my truck with a duraspark II. I am ordering a header very soon. My question is, I have a 10" glass pack in the exhaust line now. I have a flowmaster 40 I want to put on. Do I need to cut out the glass pack out or can I leave it on an add the flowmaster at the end of the exhaust line? The glass pack is pretty far forward in the exhaust line. Will both be too restrictive? I'm hoping to quiet the truck down some buy having both on it and also save some money by not redoing the whole exhaust system.

The glasspack will be fine. Might even quiet down that "flowmaster drone".

This is pretty much what I have. I have a cheap (Walker) muffler under the cabin area (not the stock location) and a glass pack (Harley exhaust pipe) as the exhaust tip.
I was hoping it would be quiet. It's not loud, but it's not quiet either.
