OK... I'm getting ready to stab my new motor in my 60... I been Bidding on headers on ebay...looking for used here or there,,,,I'm not a real header fan on my daily driver.
the port divider seems to have me baffled a bit....why would you not just bolt on in? This is my thought....
in the old 351 and some 390's the after market trick was to raise the exhaust ports this was done with a part that looked like the exhaust gasket with meatle bent to form the exhaust ports and dirrect the gasses upward to the speacal headers... why cant you do this with a port divider?making it a bolt on ordeal...milde steal exhaust flang and weld a mild steal divider to it...Complete and simple.
