EXPORT BRACE

I have a real simple question about the export brace..what is the dimension between shock towers supposed to be? ( I currently have the two piece kind.) From what points is the measurement made?

I just measured the distance across tops of the shock mounts, and it's about 33 3/4". I have a good, thick export brace. I believe the critical thing is not the exact dimension, but that it stays the same. The export brace also stiffened the chassis fore and aft.

what about the chrome export brace and its installation. I plan add the chrome one soon. I assume that the orignal braces are taken out and the chrome on goes out and covers the shock tower. I really don't know.

Andrew, that is with a chrome export brace. It is not an easy drop-in, but well worth the little bit of trouble. 8) PM me with your e-mail address if you want pics.
