Fan blade for an original AC shroud?

I bought an original 64-66 mustang 6 cyl metal fan shroud for my 65 Mustang off a listing on Ebay. I put it on the car only to find out the fan blade that came on car was too big and wont fit. That fan blade has the angled tips. So I went to u pull it (without a tape measure) and found a early Falcon with a fan blade with curved tips. I pulled it off and took it home only to find out its blades are 1/2" longer than the one I already have....AARRGGHH . Is there a special fan blade that only came with car with factory air? If so what does it look like? Anyone have a picture of one? Any advice is much appreciated...
