No, that is correct.
The 223/262 uses 1 port for 2 cylinders on the center 4 cylinders..
I wont say that its a great setup, but its how they do it. I asked a ford engineer about it once, and he explained it that the center cylinders get more gas/fuel than the outside ones, based on proximity to the carb.. so they have those center cylinders share an intake port to kind of 'balance it out'.
*shrug*
I'v probably put 6 223's together, and that looks about right.
The question, is will it work with a stock exhaust manifold, since 223 headers are getting hard to find (glad i got mine before they vanished)
